Who is this comic book creator/animator?Sarge? No.
Rosemary the telephone operator? No.
Fred Perry the mild mannered artist? Could beeee.
(Okay, some folks asked about my profile so I'm going to post it here were anyone can get at it.)
Fred began his professional career in 1989 by sending submissions to the Ninja High School yearbook anthology. His very first published work appears in the very first NHS yearbook.
After serving in the Marine Corps in operation desert storm Fred first began working on his new idea, "Gold Digger!" From 1991 on, Fred's produced over 4000 pages of story and 30,000 frames of animation for GD
But what does Fred do to relax? Draw some more. But mostly fun stuff like his Final Fantasy XI fan comic: LVL UP.
Current projects include the 3rd episode of "Gold Digger:Time Raft", the on going comic series Gold Digger and the third chapter of Legacy.
(There. Now when anyone asks for my profile for a convention book I can point 'em right over here! Heh,heh.)

I know I've seen this sketch before. I think I saw it in one of the many "How to Draw Manga" series of books. All of which I currently own.
I still remember your self sketch that hat the hat and drinking from the cup. This more modern version looks like the little guy version all HULKed out. "Don't make me busy. You wouldn't like me when I'm busy."
Doubt you care about this detail, but I was in middle school when Operation Desert Storm first started. A couple of soldiers came to visit to explain to us what was going on. We were given stickers that had an eagle and said, "Operation Desert Storm" and "Support Our Troops". To this day I still have that sticker pasted to the top right corner of my drafting desk. Even if I one day get a new drafting desk. I will still want to keep that sticker. It's looking a little worn now.
