Okay 1)God has so much powers that he can end everything with a snap of the finger and change takes time for us humans,slavery didn't end in a day and many people were killed and injured while protesting that took years before we can be equal,let me ask you what would you rather have,someone who can end things in a second or risking innocent lives? 2)Don't give me that "free will" speech I've heard that all the time and I still call that crap,god could punish evil and help the innocent,if he has the power to create the world then he can muti-task and let me ask you a question,why are we on earth if there's a heaven and hell? And 4)If I found out my child is a bully I would make sure he or she wouldn't do that again,if a parent leaves the choice to the child the child will keep doing it and keep doing it when they're an adult,I would give my child a taste of heir own medicine and discipline them and make damn sure they wouldn't do that again,if they want to be a punk or gangster I'll treat them like one and show them the error of their ways,parents need to discipline their children so they can be respectable kids and adults ,they'll cry and they'll hate you but in the end they'll know better and they will thank you one day whether they realize it or not

Even so, I don't have the answers to everything, so there's my opinion.
I get way more in depth with this, but obviously this conversation has gotten hostile.
All I can do is tell you what I think is right because I am only the streetlight for the road.
Whether you choose that road is up to you.
Also what you said about the child being a bully, you said you would do EXACTLY what you say God is doing wrong.
Your kid is being bad, you punish them so they'll realize that what they're doing was idiotic and stupid.
But as soon as God doesn't give you handout, or doesn't make your life easy, you get angry, and you lash out.
Maybe God, is trying to teach you a lesson.

First of all I don't need anything from god I can earn the things I have today not from him but from my hard work heh,a handout? I don't want anything from him I want him to help those in need instead of just watching us killing each other,is it wrong that I want peace in the world? Also, there s nothing wrong with wanting to fix the world, and it makes me truly happy to hear you say such wonderful things.
As for why I stick by God?
Well, to be honest, he's the best things I've ever found in life.
He loves me, just for who I am, as much as a flawed piece of trash I can be, just like loves every one of us
I look at other religions around the world and I see, "Obey me now, or I will kill you.", "Worship me, because if you don't I will end you and damn you for eternity",(these are put really frankly and simple so bear with me) but when I look at Christianity, I see a God hurting day in and day out, watching his children kill, rape, and bully one another, and he cries every hour of time, holding his arms out, trying to bring his children back into his arms and love them with a love that never ends. God isn't our master, he's our Father, and he wants to raise us with care.
As to whether we reject his open arms, that's up to us.
You see, the way I see it he doesn't fix it all because it'll happen again. No one will learn anything.
If he rid the world of all the people, he would just be a father smothering his children for not being perfect. He sees what we do, and it makes him sad and angry, but he desperately wants to give everyone as many chances as it takes, because he wants to bring all of his children back in his arms.
I stick by God because he loves me, and he wants to love me. I don't have a beautiful life, but I have one thing that I always know will stick by ME, no matter what.
Oh! And the streetlight thing is a metaphor I use.

One leading to the left, the other leading to the right in opposite directions.
The right road is dark, making it unable to see clearly making sure footing impossible. But, of what little bit of the road you can see looks nice and paved.
The road to the left on the other hand is not brand new, but safe and comforting because of thousands of large, bright streetlamps rest along the side of the road, casting a warm and bright light. This road you can see clearly even as it stretches onto the horizon.
You see, this bright road you see is the path of god, and the streetlights represent the people that have traveled along it, leaving a bright guide for you to follow behind.
God is the road, and his people are the streetlamps showing a weary traveler where to safely go.

But what about what religion does in general? I was actually born into a Christian family. Over the years, I've never been forced to go, and I've never not wanted to go to church. I find it a safe place for me to feel happy. Now, I can't say this about all the churches I've been too. Good churches are really to find nowadays, which is really sad. u Β u
I love my religion more than anything, but it's so sad how many people I see that give us a bad rep. Honestly, I'm not surprised that people hate us. The Trojan Horse Christians, If you will, are all people seem to notice...

I'm a Christian and I have doubts every once in awhile. Then I remember all of the things he's brought me through. I'm currently thirteen years old but hear me out I've had many near death experiences the few I remember as important events. I had almost been a victim of 9/11 at only a few months old. My parents were going to take me to the Pentagon to get my birth certificate but they had accidentally slept in by the time they turned on the news that morning they had seen what God had saved us from.
