The liquid(?) she is sitting in is very interesting! Skin textures are great too, kinda creepy, but great! Looks like she had several layers of skin pulled off! Ouch.

nonono - the were intentional - part of Vali's character package.... but I had a girlfriend at school with neraly two different eye-color (one more green and one more brown) and believe me this IS irritating.

Amazing picture, and hey, i don't miss the shadows there at all! Sometimes i spent hours trying to get my shadows off some part of the picture I want to be highlighted! I think it's better as it is!

There is only one thing I miss in this piece and thats some shadows from her headpiece on her head and face.
But except for that I say WOW! I love this, I have always loved a good sci-fi artwork but not all gets my comment. You really do tease my mind

Thanks - the missing shadows came from the lighting and the subsurface scattering I used. Some of the parallel spots eliminated the shadows from the other spos...

hm yes, I know sometime I work hard on a shading and then after making color and light adjustment I realise that the shadows not always can bee seen
