A very strong picture, love the lighting, colours and very well composed. The smoke in the background adds a dramatic effect too. Lovely!

awesome shot. I pressed download to see a higher-res, and i saw that there are some heavy grains - epecially in the fathers' face. Is this due to heavy dodging in PS or is it hardcore jpeg-artifacts?

Ya.....i saw this too at large print.
It cause from my past old DSLR camera that i bought
earlier which the resolution capture don't have RAW and
just have Jpeg.
....i have to accepted it and that the different between
expensive DSLR nowdays and earlier version....
.....i accepeted it again as old days negative at ISO 800 also
produce heavy grains....some even purposely shoot using
Negative ISO-1600 to get grains effect.....ha..ha...
...thanks for comments.

Thanks all for visiting my gallery....
...that's not Lamb but it's traditional Chinese Roasted Pig.
Almost like B.B.Q but traditional method...they put it into
big clay oven with underground fire burn up using
coconut shell that believe produce special aroma...
The picture I took was during part of production where
they painted some ingredients on the skin before
next step....to B.B.Q.
A lot of beautiful sun-rays inside this area because all the
walls was made of zink sheet where a lot's of hole here
and there from walls to roof. When side lighting sun
it's produce rays cause from thick smoke around clay oven
area.....
Chinese use to buy this Golden Roasted Pig for praying...offering
to thier ancestor or any others festival....
