Tearing,
Pulling,
Pushing,
Howling,
Rain falling,
Splattering.

I sat unmoving
As the worlds moved on.

On iron core burning
Turning,
Grating,
Shaking.
On great plates of Earth
Sliding,
Sinking,
Heating,
Quivering.
On wet soil with insect and worms,
Tunneling,
Crawling,
Hiding,
Mating.
On grass growing,
Dying,
Flowering,
Seeding.

I sat unmoving
As the worlds moved on.

Seasons changing,
Planets rotating,
Revolving,
Stars burning,
Dying,
Exploding.
Galaxies spinning,
Travelling,
Colliding.
Space Expanding,
Contracting,
Bending.
Black holes forming,
Convulsing,
Devouring,
Suckling.
Entropy increasing,
Order diminishing.
Lives vanishing,
Appearing,
Creating.
Time passing,
Slowing,
Standing.

I sat unmoving
As the worlds moved on.

I would stay,
Forever unchanging,
Observer eternal.

But alas!

This is but an abstract flaw,
