Mars... Mars... why you so hard? Ugh. She's hard to think up a design for because of Sailor Mars' long hair. I thought about making the wings come from her head instead of her lower back, but they'd then be black, and that is just too many differences from the other main five. I want them all essentially the same except for their heads and coloring.I thought maybe I could have a filmy, tattered fabric attached to her head. I don't know. Maybe dangly talismans? Hinting at Sailor Mars' being a shinto priestess?
TFA Autobots seem to have a bit of a religion, so... maybe they could have talisman type stuff, or have picked that sort of thing up from Earth?
I don't know. Suggestions?

You've definitely captured Mars in her attitude- her expression and pose- but now I'm wondering about her hair. Thin plating that could conceivably fold up (like a fan) and get tucked in so it's out of the way in her alt-mode?
If you want to go the talisman route, it's conceivable she picked up something of Earth culture from whatever Prowl brought back to Cybertron (since he's still alive in this timeline). That would allow you to incorporate any Shinto emblems. Or go with something you might find at the cyber-dojo? Maybe she hangs out there (or wants to- not sure Perceptor would let her out of the lab!).

Tried the talisman thing, but it wasn't working, so I tried your suggestion, and it worked out a lot better! Cuter then I thought it would.
