Description Cone 10 Glowworm stoneware

... I forgot to write down the measurements. ... Something like yeah high-- *holds out her hands sbout 7 inches apart*

So it occured to me last summer that the tree of Knowledge, often depicted as an apple tree, is also often depicted as a masculine tree. That is, one trunk, properly errect.

It would make sense that the Tree of Life would be a feminine tree-- twin trunks, open wide at the base like a mother giving birth.

So this vase has a variation of that theme on it.

this is a beautiful surface. did you use some type of stain to enhance the lines? or is this something the glaze does when it reaches cone 10 temp?

beautiful job, you have a unique style!

I put Iron oxide in the tree itself, very heavily, and then waxed over so that none of the glaze that I sprayed on (thin) would get into the branches. The rest is just the glaze and the wood ash. ^_^
