Description
This is the gist of my cover art for the novel I'm attempting to write for National Novel Writing Month. I'm taking a break from NaNo writing to kinda get the idea laid out so I know kinda what I want it to look like despite not having proper dimensions and not feeling like looking for an actual reference shot.So this will actually be printed 90 degrees turned counter clockwise (left for those of you who are lazy). Just sketched it up in Photoshop cuz I felt like using digital media for the moment rather than sketching it. Ultimately, I'd like to get this painted by hand in traditional media. Mehbeh oil, mehbeh acrylic. Acrylic's my medium of choice but I'd like to try out oils.

Yeah, seems like it. I suppose we do. XP Well, pop art tends to hold a vast array of styles as well. So it's the type of pop art I do that we can debate on. lol I'd love to do low brow. X3 I'm just kinda dabbling here and there anyway. Never happy with one line of work or medium.

Weird. -shakes head- That is true. I think you're slip quite easily into low brow. I recommend studying it and finding something you really like. The style will develop itself. -shrugs- Keep experimenting. You'll find something. I'll bring my paints home and a canvas and you can play with my oils.
LOL. Nah, I'd say you're right on target with everyone. I think you only need 20,000 some words today anyway. You're fine.

I'd love to do that. Any good low brow artists I can study aside from Natalie Shau? That's true - keep playing with something and it eventually will develop itself into something cool. XD

I think so. I've been able to hit my word count or get ahead some and have that to fall back on if something happens that I can't write that day or I'm just not able to write. So yeah, I'm right on schedule. Makes me wonder if I'll finish my story at around 50,000 or still have more to do.

Um, Mark Rydan is good. I think I've got a few more written down somewhere. I can always ask Jen. Totally! I actually didn't find my style unitl college. I think Jen helped me figure that out. I may just take you longer.
That's a good question. I finished early, Amber's hoping she'll be done by 75,000.

I'm ready I think to start the whole Shadow arc. -_-' Depends on how wordy I want to make it, how much detail I want to go into events. I'm still debating if I should hint at or go into detail about the first attack and those that follow. Guess it'll figure itself out when I get to that point. *shrugs*
Yeah, well, Amber's just a beast. She could easily make that into two books, I'm sure. I have a feeling a lot of my writing will be thrown out but that's okay. I go on tangents and whatnot. I can deal with that in December! Onward! *wants a crepe*

Oh WAAAY happier now, WAY HAPPIER. I didn't have a style in high school. Okay, well I had a basic one, but my "talent" or technical skill or whatever is better now.
0.0 Yeah. You'll figure it out. You can always go back and add to it. I think that's easier than cutting stuff out.
Oh totally, but sized down I'd say it'll be average sized for a novel. All mine end up being really small for novels. Her's will probably be average. Totally.

That's true. Besides, it's for me. And if someone actually wants to read it, I can warn them before hand. I think a lot of it has to do with how much I actually remember, too. I was pretty numb and not quite there more often than not. *shrugs* Go figure though.
This is true. We can work on my cover when you come home. Wanna help me with it? I have it basically sketched up. Need to beat a hand into submission but other than that I just have the back ground to do. Then color.
I want to read hers. It sounds really good. X3 Gooo Amber! LOL No, Crepe. With strawberries and cream and chocobutter. Creeps can get the hell away from me. And it's scary how they can pick you out from a crowd when they want prey. >.<
