so i went with zoroark! at first i really wasn't a huge fan of the design, and it really bugged me (still does) how popular it is. i hate when pokemon are super popular. now i've come to enjoy it a lot, it still isn't like in my top favorites, but i like it! it's significant to me though because of when it was first released! do you guys remember that?! it was so fun! it was my first year old college, and they released that shadow, it was so exciting!!! and then there was art everywhere of it!!! so much speculation, it was just such a fun time. i will always remember that time i think.day 28 is gen 6! knowing what happened with gen 6 and my fondness for a specific something, you might be able to figure out whom i adore and hold a special place in my heart for!

I adore Zoroark! The only thing that I don't like is that, being such a cool looking design you hardly ever get to see it, I mean I wanted to have it on my team, but I'd like to see it attacking, not disguised as another of my pokemon!
But I still like it SO SO much! It's just incredibly cool

I personally don't understand why someone would dislike something because it is popular. For me that just isn't a good enough reason. But, you do you I guess. :/

well i don't think it's the ONLY reason for me, but it definitely makes this worse. i feel like people then think you only like it because it's trendy (not that others' opinion matter, but still) and then it just feels so fake, it bugs me to see all this popularity around it, and you know it's just fake, its because it is trendy to feel that way, and because the creators are pushing us to like something, so then it doesn't feel real and natural. plus i'm not right in the head lol my brain distorts things very easily.

I would assume he means more the way Nintendo or Game Freak seem to choose a Pokemon or two each gen and shove it down our throats in a very forced 'woah cool! Look at how cool this Pokemon is! Isn't it cool!?' Fashion. E.g. Charizard, Lucario, Greninja, etc.

Well Game Freak does that to advertise new games. They show the "cool" pokemon to make people want to use them, and thus buy and play the games.

I actually really Like Zoroark. Of all the forced popularity 'mons I feel like he never really took off as strong, so he has that nice 'underdog' quality I appreciate

yeah i agree, he didn't quite take off as much, not sure why. i think for whatever reason people just did not like gen 5. idk why.

I loved it until I saw that it has no tails and I was broken :c but when I watch the movie I fell in love of it. ;w;

oh i actually really love that it has no tail, that the hair becomes the tail, i think that's so unique! just my outlook on it though. it's pretty cool
