i was sort of disappointed with this. i mean overall the design is nice, and i know many of you like it, i just wanted a more fun cute regional bug, so this was a disappointment for me personally.Related content

Eh, i disagree. Perhaps it's not the typical bug regional evolution, but i find it just as adorable as the others. The only thing added is it's ALSO terrifying and powerful-looking.
Also, you should see Pokedex for it too. Is that not the most adorable thing to think of? Haha.

well~ i don't know. i think Cutiefly helps in that "cute regional bug" you wanted. this is just a cool starter bug you get that is useful. i mean, a Electric/bug type with levitate: yes please! and i love the design: it looks like normal beetle's front pincers, but it looks like jumper cables and seeing as i was right WAY Back when Grubbin was introduced that it would be a beetle pokemon, i was stoked, but my mind was blown when it was part Electric and the design!

some sort of butterfly or moth or fun cute bug, not big bulky beetle

but we have too many cute Butterfly and moth pokemon. a beetle is better if you ask me. heck! we have Cutiefly, as i said.

Boring?! we only have like 1-2 beetle pokemon, heracross and pinser, and we only have one line of Bug/Electric types, that's Jotick and Galvantula. we don't have a pokemon like this for some time now and as i said, i think the design of a Levitating Stag Beetle Electric type is pretty cool. not to mention the whole line in itself because the way each pokemon uses the other, like Charjabug getting a way to move since it's a cocoon and, with it's ability, giving Vikavolt a battery to keep fighting. that's pretty freaking amazing if you ask me!
