I have to admit that when I first watched my big sis go through the game, I supported Aeris(th)/Cloud, but I was, what,in fourth grade maybe at the time?
Plus, since watching the movie and playing kingdom hearts, the Tifa/Cloud pairing makes much more sense. Aeris/Cloud is like Yuki/Tohru in Fruitsbasket. Cloud sees Aeris as more of a mother figure, or sister, not a girlfriend.
In short, LOVE to the Tifa/Cloud awesomeness!
