My favourite from the whole series is Buttons(Generation 1) but from the fourth generation Applejack strikes me as the coolest.

He comes up in season 2 of Generation 4. I like him but I do not love him. I preferred Queen Chrysalis as a villain. She struck me as more threatening and I loved her song.

I like Queen ChrysalisXDiscord more but I can see what you mean. The scene with the two of them was funny. Fluttershy totally owned him for a bit there. XD
She is in Season 2 in the last two episodes of it. Those were good episodes.
