One of the many shots I took at the International Rose Test Garden in Portland. Although, there was a man there that seemed to be taking pictures of all 300+ varieties of roses. I'm not that crazyRelated content

great detail of the rose in the background- it almost looks like its a reflection from the foreground great work

Haha, yes, this one's a weeee bit different from my last one. But it's awesome! I lurves it. *hugs the avatar* It was made by *reed682 ; he's making a portfolio with a Wonderland theme, and this is one of the characters in it. He asked me if I wanted an icon, so I got one!

Beautiful hues! And the composition looks good, too. I always wonder when photographing flowers whether to cut the edges or not - guess this just slightly touching is a good compromise :]

Thank you very much! I always have the same dilemma myself. I usually take a couple of shots, with one having space around the edges. That way, if I want to cut off a little, I can crop it. It's much harder to add what isn't in the shot to start with
