Well, here are RIKU and your OC KIYA, fighting off Shadow Heartless-es in the "World that never was".
This has gotta be the hardest request I've ever Coloured!
You can see it's obviously because of the numerous Heartless in this piece, and the complexities of RIKU's Keyblade 'Way to the Dawn' & KIYA's Crystal Keyblade..
RIKU's stance, in this piece, is the battle stance he normally takes on in the Original game, whenever he faces a battle.
(Notices) Oh no...I went ahead and made them both Left-handed..
And I think the background's wayyy too bright to be recognized as the 'World that never was'..but I tried my best on the fluorescent lights!!><
Overall, I did enjoy drawing this.

I'll admit all the lineart in this piece
made it fairly difficult for me to colour it
digitally
But all in all, I enjoyed myself thoroughly

this is awesome!! great fight scene and perfectly drawn. (the coloring is a bit to light like you mentioned but that can be overlooked.)

i think the main place to improve is the coloring. if you want the feel of "World that never was" then i think you should make it a darker feel. to gain this i think you should darken anything that isn't glowing or has light. the glowing should effect its surroundings however, but gaining contrast i think should come before all the special lighting effect.
has a great tutorial on how to draw realistic eyes [link] but i think that it works for all shading and contrast effects very well.(granted this will take allot longer to color than you might be taking now, i've tried this before)
also another tutorial by [link] will give you a good idea of how things should work for the lighting; even though it teaches you how to do it with colored pencil.
for the most part i think that the lighting in the "World that never was" would give everything stark contrast in which things are ether lighted or not (maybe not quite that bad, but you get the idea.) don't think about all the light sources that might be shining in the room and lighting it up; rather think about all the shadows that will be cast and feel of the world around.
as for the fight scene i think you did great; the proportions don't seem to change despite the odd positions needed for a fight scene and you gave a good flow to it. Riku however looks a bit stiff, but i assume you were thinking he's ready for battle, not in combat. also seeing as you took his position out of the game, it makes sense. if it were me however i think i would have chosen a different position, of my own creation, even if it made it allot more difficult to draw.

i hope you found my 'critique' reasonable and that it helped you. i guess I'm a better critic than i am a drawer, lol. you still did very good and probably allot better than i could do, if given the task. i just hope i didn't say so much as to bore you.
