*sigh* I remember being so excited to see this Pokémon.
First time I'd ever played Pokémon was Pokémon Diamond. Doesn't mean I haven't played older ones after that though... 
I thought this was a cat when I first saw it. What? It was the 6th Pokémon I'd ever seen in game, give me a break!
...
Well of course I caught it!
Brought him all the way to the Elite Four as a Luxray. Here's the Shinx Stamp.

(Pokémon diamond was also the first pokemon game i played, and i too caught a shinx! but apparently i didn't get it the elite four and my diamond broke :C)
