During one of my least favourite lectures of the week I often find myself doodling aimlessly, usually just random shapes and faces, and the occasional figure.

The week before I went to see Starlight Express: The Third Dimension (the UK tour) in Birmingham's Alexandra Theatre. It's been so long since I've seen StEx, and I only saw it once during the closing week. I loved this version though, I think it worked very well indeed despite no space for the races around the theatre (the 3D was uber awesome).

Also, I got to see the infamous Red Caboose or CB in action, who was cut out from the 'new' StEx when ALW revised it. I'm so glad they put him back in, if only they left his solo songs in too... it doesn't make as much sense without CB's own song 'Wide Smile, High Style/ CB'. Still, the actor playing him had the most tremendous evil insane laugh!

So... you can see I've circled the note that triggered the doodle. I didn't actually know what I was doodling until I got to the rollerskates. By then it was a full blown figure, and I thought 'meh, might as well get some red pen and colour it in.'

The evil caboose has taken over my mind!
