This thing was quite literally one of the most amazing exhibits I was ever in while at the Ripley's Odditorium in Orlando. It was little more than a rigid walkway with a counterclockwise rotating drum around it, but it was the most forceful and undeniably influential optical illusion I've ever experienced. It was irresistible and not a little spooky.

All you do is walk inside and within three seconds your body will, regardless of your willpower or physical strength, lean in the direction of rotation. It absolutely will, if you're Mini-Me or Andre the Giant, pull you over to where you need to hang on to the railing.

You can know how it works all you want, you can tell yourself you're not moving, you can look at the ground until you get a kink in your neck and nothing at all except closing your eyes will help. The severe disorienting (NOT disorientating!!!) effect is the peak of convincing.
