"I was out on a hunt for game, deep in the mountains when I stumbled upon a strange creature. At first, I thought it was a boulder, but as I approached, I saw that it was moving, letting out a low growl.
I was taken aback when I saw that it was a creature unlike any I had ever seen. It was small, no more than three feet tall, but it was clear that it was a Grubian, a creature made entirely of rock. But unlike the adult Grubians, this one's belly and tail were not completely made of lava instead, it was still glowing as if it was just born.
It was still weak and fragile, but it was already showing signs of its true nature. It was already able to move and defend itself, using its small size to its advantage. It was also able to shoot small lava projectiles from its mouth.
I knew that I had to be careful, for even though it was small, it was still a Grubian, and it would not hesitate to attack if it felt threatened. I observed it for a while, studying its movements and behaviour, before finally making my way back to the village to tell the others of my discovery.
It was clear that this was no ordinary creature. It was a Grubian, a being of immense power and strength, even in its infancy. I knew that it would become a fearsome creature as it grew."
This massive creature is a terrifying sight to behold. Standing at over 10 feet tall, Grubian is a quadrupedal reptile made entirely of rocks, with the exception of its belly and tail, which are made of lava. Its rocky body is covered in jagged spikes, making it a formidable opponent in combat. Despite its intimidating appearance, Grubian is a relatively slow-moving creature, but it more than makes up for it with its immense strength and fiery attacks. Grubians reproduce by laying eggs, which are incubated underground and protected by the heat of the surrounding lava. Baby Grubians are born fully formed and able to defend themselves, but they are smaller and less skilled than adult Grubians. In combat, adult Grubians are formidable opponents, using their massive strength and fiery attacks to devastating effect. They are intelligent creatures, and will often use strategy and terrain to their advantage. Their rocky exterior is not only for protection but also for camouflage, they are able to blend into rocky terrain and be almost invisible.
Grubians have a special ability to sense vibrations in the earth, allowing them to locate prey, enemies, or potential mates from great distances. As they grow, Grubians become increasingly more powerful, with larger adults having the ability to shoot larger and more powerful lava projectiles, and their rocky exteriors becoming harder and more durable. They are known to have a strong magical presence, and some have been known to have the ability to use earth magic to control the surrounding terrain to their advantage and also have a strong healing factor, they can repair any damage to their rocky exterior over time as long as they have access to minerals to consume.
It's a very rare sight to see a Grubian in the wild, they are considered apex predators and their populations are very small, some even consider them to be mythical creatures.
Diet:
Grubian's diet consists mainly of minerals and rocks, which it obtains by excavating the earth with its massive claws. It also has the ability to consume metal, which it uses to repair and strengthen its rocky body.
Social behaviour:
Grubians are solitary creatures that are only seen together during mating season. They are territorial and will defend their territory fiercely against any intruders. They communicate with each other through a series of low, rumbling growls.
Abilities and Skills:
Grubian's rocky body provides excellent protection against physical attacks, but they are vulnerable to spells that can affect the earth and fire. Its belly and tail are made of lava, which means that it is constantly emitting heat and can easily melt metal armour. It can also attack with lava projectiles and its tail can be used as a whip to strike opponents. In addition, Grubian has a strong resistance to fire and heat and can burrow underground to escape danger.
