Description
Court Record for Case HB8: LardBurger vs Maya FeyThe prosecution claims that a girl who matches the description of defendant Maya Fey completely cleared the stock of her local LardBurger restaurant, costing the venue several thousand dollars in lost profits. The defense adamantly denies all charges.
Evidence-
Attorney's Badge: My all-important badge, it shows that I am a defense attorney.
My Credit Card: Currently empty. Was used frequently on the day of the incident. Bears the fingerprints of the defendant.
Profiles-
Edgeworth: Esteemed prosecutor and my main rival in court. Ambiguously camp.
Donald McRonald: Owner of the local LardBurger establishment. Claims to have witnessed the entire incident.
Maya Fey: My assistant from Kurain village and sister to my deceased mentor, Mia Fey. Mysteriously gained several hundred pounds in weight after I accidentally told her my credit card number.

Decided to do this after I realised the severe lack of Maya embiggening, even after several games in the series- enjoy!

I think it's because in the original japanese version her fave food is ramen and I'm sure that's not as unhealthy as american hamburgers xD

Actually, Ramen is WAY More unhealthy than American burgers.
It would just make her bigger.

Really? Why? I mean... burgers is fast food and traditional ramen is not.

The Ramen powder (,Without it Ramen is just noodles and veggies,) is CHALK FULL of preservatives and stuff. I know, its confusing, but I was curious one day. If you don't use the powder, it would be much healthier than the average American burger. Either way, both will get you fat. With enough, of course.

You sure you are talking about real ramen and not the artificial fast-food one?

I'm sure "real" ramen can be made with natural more healthy stuff.

You left out a couple of crucial details. What the credit card was used for, and how Maya claims she got the burgers. Plus, Maya could have been possessed. She is a medium.

That Maya, she was always fond of those burgers. Great job on her expression and the backstory was funny to read.

Hehe, I like the pic, and the court record is great. 'Donald McRonald' totally sounds like the kind of name they'd come up with.

Edgeworth: "Will the defendant state her name and occupation?"
Maya: "Maya Fey, *chomp* Spirit Medium..."
Nick: "*More like spirit extra large...*"
Alright, but enough of my poor attempts at humor and let's get down to what really matters - an honest critique XD.
Firstly, nice work with the background replication of the in-game scene, really helps to create a believable setting XD
Secondly, the girl (and oh so much of her). Maya always seemed to be a bit of a belly growth girl in my opinion, as that's what I imagine her shape to be like were she to actually be that fat. The belly being folded under the table was a very nice touch, as is her lack of lower body garments to show off just a sliver of her pink panties XD Tastefully seductive. Though when I looked upon this picture the first time, I felt that her arm fat was the real attracting point, that sightly bulge mixing with the sheen of her purple shirt. Quite a gateway point which leads your eyes further down across her delectable proportions XD Bravo, good sir.
Finally, the short story plot encompased within your description. Humorous in the traditional phoenix wright style, yet entirely believable as a part of an actual game plot. I would say that has sparked several story writing ideas on my part as it is just far too rich an opportunity not to expand upon XD (Pun intended) XD If that keeps up, the court room really might have to invest in sturdier furniture XD

B-Mage [2008-04-20 20:17:26 +0000 UTC]
Not to nit pick, but isn't the line for the underside of her belly missing and the line coming up from her right leg going past where that line should be? Also the right leg has a bulge that moved in front of the left leg which should be in the fore-ground and thus be infront of the right leg.
Regardless it is a nice pic and a cute story line

G-Nibbles In reply to B-Mage [2008-04-20 21:03:04 +0000 UTC]
Thanks for the crit- Hmm, on the subject of the underside of her belly the bottom is 'under' the desk and so below the picture itself. The line to the left of her leg is leaning down to it, not part of the leg itself.
Also, I can't quite wrap my head around what you're saying about the leg, please excuse my reading comprehension.

I initially thought the same thing as b-mage but I see what you mean after reading this. You've really closely emulated the Phoenix Wright style! It seems to be a trait of the Ace Attorney girls to be gluttonous, in Apollo Justice Ema is constantly eating snackoos!

B-Mage In reply to G-Nibbles [2008-04-20 22:14:18 +0000 UTC]
ok I see, never mind. I thought she was standing back fro mthe desk which would make the part of her belly pushed against the desk looked like her right leg fat, but now that I look at it as she is pushed against the desk it makes all my "errors" null and void
my bad

I'm not sure what has worse chances of surviving this case, Nick's defense or Maya's robe.
Nick just has to make sure that they don't need to go onto a second day, it'd be one of the few cases where going back for more evidence makes his case even worse.
