I don't think this'll be my constant art style, I just felt like drawing like this way at the time.
As for the nose bit, I'm actually trying to separate his eyes to be less Sonic-like. So yeah, I guess you could say that.

Well, I didn't mean permanently. (I probably should have worded it better.) Though it is a nice change up from the norm for v a r i e t y ' s sake.
The separation looks like a good start. More detailing and a more unique profile definitely helps with a more personal appearance.
