Ooh darkness dragon! Kinda like the blurred lines between good and evil so far.
The peace keepers... the "good" ones, automatically thought that all things Dark were evil - and thus attacked his clan, killed everything he knew....
And so they made him inot what they thought he would be - evil, vengeful, and vicious.
Just my own interpretation.

lol! I have several villains... First is the character Kubar. He's a Starborn, a Celestial closely connected to a star in the sky. They gain power from their star. Kubar grew power hungry, he wanted a greater status among the ranks of Starborn, but his nephew stood in his way. Izar Asasurun'Shasutil; he was young and strong - but more importantly, the Starborn King. Kubar poisoned his nephew and caused him to be knocked down to the materiel realm. (He also "tainted" him by raping him so he could never go back 
Izar came under the care of Izdrath and Eldaron, who both helped him stay away from Kubar while he regained his strength. Kubar was pissed that the Guardians got in his way, and decided he would destroy them as well - not to mention, without them there, he could do ANYTHING he wanted. He is a powerful enemy that Izdrath and Eldaron face many times.
He has a pet Kitsune - a Fox who stumbled through a rift and ended up in Galabastarin. He got ahold of the Fox's Soul Gem, and Shikiru became his servant. Course - Shikiru being a demented little devil fell in love with Kubar and Kubar in his own demented way loves the fox... xD
There's Ekara, too, she's a Black Dragoness who'se batshit insane. She wouldn't have given the Guardians a second look, except that she was sent after the, by Eshyara, one of my strongest recurring villains who is also my favorite... He's insane, demented, clever... and very tormented inside. He doesn't know who or what he is, only that he wants revenge, and that the Guardians stand in his way and must be destroyed at all costs. They seal him away at one point, and his spirit escapes which makes him even MORE elusive and dangerous...

i really think that all bad guyz should have motive (because in many storys theyr evil for no resond and your all like WTF!??) also i watch allot of anime....and every single character has a sad past for some reason XDD
