Tried out new style-mix to make rest from my usual hard-n-evil stuff.Also it's a fanart on my favorite fantasy cartoon of all time - The Flight of Dragons.
You must be really old to remember it (in russia it was shown only once - on pirated-VHS with shitty Volodarsky-translator voice): k[link]
Thinking about picture-series based on this cartoon. I watched it so many times as a kid, i remember every minute. And every minute has it's place inside of an old dark basement somewhere in my heart.

One of the true legends of fantasy animation and my all-time childhood favourite! Such a delightful render, very true to the orignal colours and style.
I was fortunate enough to acquire the book, The Flight of Dragons, last year. Imagine my surprise when I discovered it to be the book Dickinson is writing, and not the story of the film!

Ага, такие опыты не забываются. Думаю многим он запомнился именно из-за его необычной редкости. Во так ВНЕЗАПНО странный мультик с дурацким переводом, и дальше тишина на многие годы. И позже когда находишь в электронном варианте-весьма счастлив.
Хотя мульт и без этого отличный.

I remeber this movie....aww it took me so long to find what it was called again since as a child I only saw it on VHS when my mom rented it for me from a small mom and pop rental business that went out of business some 18 years ago.. It is a really special movie and I have loved it since the first time I saw it...so like you it will always have a special part in my heart.

The colors in this look really good. The high saturation almost makes it look like it was painted with acrylics. I really like those backgrounds!

I searched for it for so long until I found it with a spanish translation and a very crappy resolution. Anyway, it was great to see them again since I didnt kept a copy of the movie.
