Description
The code isn't 100% ready, we must adapt game to different dimensions but I finished with gfx for 128x128 so I think I can show you some mockups

i'd love for my game (the one im making now and whoring screenies at dev.art) to be mobile phone friendly, but its coded in actionscript... maybe with flash lite on phones... maybe..

The background on this is absoloutely excellent, nice and smooth, and the neutralish light colours do not draw attention away from game playing. They would probably make a good pixel scene on their own.
The telephone poles are nice and detailed, good shading too. They have a somewhat too plain look in my opinion, though maybe only on the crossbar. Maybe you should add a few random pixels of colour to give a more woody look.
The trains are quite nicely done too, green is a pretty good colour choice. Red, pink or purple would probably be too vibrant and bright and would probably draw attention away from the gameplay, and would not be so easy on the eyes. Blue or yellow would be the opposite, and they would blend into the background as well.
The detailing on them is wonderful, you can see th paint chipped and dented on the vents and the grime on the doors quite well. The shadows are really well dithered. The shading on the black roof is pretty nice, but I can't really tell if it's supposed to be grimy or shiny.
I really like the characters, nice, bright and contrasty. I like the white highlights on their clothing. It looks like each of the characters has and amazing number of states, it must have taken quite a while to create each one.
I personally think that the tracks could be slightly too large compared to the train, but that size would be the minimum if you did not want the exit and pause text to interfere with the graphics and vice-versa.
On this piece, like on all of your others, the dithering is perfect, I don't see how you make it look so good. You are really a pixel master.
This reminds me that I have to finish the Osmi game I was working on.

Looks really nice, I hope I can test it some day. I know loads of people making their living by coding games for mobile phones. The mountains look a bit like ice cream to me.

what is this phone for? looks like a Nokia 7250i. I have made a couple of small james along the way for mobiles using Java, always a bit of fun, pity i got rid of the programs otherwise i would have helped you out for faster progress.. Looks stunning with the pixelart though man.. great work.!!
