Commission byRakiJedi-KurraConnor, who's name literally means 'First Jedi Honors Connor'. The design on his chest is the crest of the Jedi in his time. He carved it in his chest feathers and uses a metallic gold dye to highlight it. He has to recarve it every molting season.
He is of a race of obsidian feathered raptors that stand about 6ft tall, the Ka-Karur, or Night Raptors. He is the star of 'First Jedi ', the sequel of 'Raptors of Evidran '. Both are gen.

That's pretty sweet--looks like a Jedi archeopteryx (yes I realize it's supposed to be a raptor, but I like the idea of it flying) a little bit. The painting of the feathers is fantastic, and I like the idea of the Jedi crest on the chest. Very cool.

Thanks. He's one of the characters I'm particularly proud of creating, and I can not recommend the artist enough for raptor art. She's amazing at it.
Now I'm just looking for an artist who can color obsidian with it's transparency and shine correctly. That's going to be hard.
