Princess Luna. Nightmare Moon. The princess has struggled with this duality for as long as she can remember. Knowing that the darkness within yearns to be free. But on one fateful day, a far greater darkness descends upon them, devouring everything in its path. A day that the Princess of the Night and the Nightmare must face together, or succumb to the waking nightmare that seeks to consume all of Equestria.Now you will witness the firepower of this fully armed and operational battle couple.
On a different note, jeeze, Shining just doesn't like being a template. Crystal ponies are hard to get just right. Shining in particular, had to fix his template several times and to just not use it in some cases.

I feel like love magic shouldn't work properly when the couple is heavily mind-controlled.

I have a love hate relationship with these comics.
While I love the art, I hate the fact they are about some of my favorite characters twisted to evil. I just want to see at least one returned to how they are suppose to be. >_<
I think it's been nearly a year of me watching them like this. I'm not sure I can handle another. :/

No, the different horn is one shared by all ponies who get crystallized. Its simply a design choice based on their crystal nature, doesn't have anything to do with Chyrssie.
