Feel free to reup this with your own caption or suggest a new caption here!So Legends 3 is gone, MM Universe is gone, and X didn't make the cut for MVC3 even though he was #1 in Capcom's own poll (although Zero's in that .... not a total loss, but the explanation for no MM seems like a lie). And it seems they blame us fans.
A "big year for Megaman" indeed.
And it's not quite that many things were cancelled, but the *way* in which they were cancelled. It really feels like we fans have been jerked around by Capcom quite a bit. It really has to be the worst case of PR in Megaman history.
Anyhow, this is what I immediately thought when the game was cancelled. Nobody else has seemed to draw it, so I did.

I grew up on Megaman (and Darkstalkers - what made me try Street Fighter) and this news made me:

"Fans just didn't try hard enough" my ass. I get the fun behind having the fans help out, but they really shouldn't expect us to do ALL their work for them. Blaming the fans is just a bullshit excuse to avoid a PR disaster, and I don't think it's going to work out for them.

I'd expect them to be angry as much as the fans! Yeah their primary enemy is "defeated" but now they are out of a job! I could see any of them out on the street with a sign saying "Awesome Villain for hire!"

Man, though, I am particularly devastated about the cancelation of Megaman Legends 3. I was really looking forward to that game, and the new artwork had me really hyped.
