amazingly, this looks like every alley i've ever seen. and i've been to a lot of places. seriously this could be anywhere in the world. oddly enough, though, it looks a bit too clean.
it's a nice photo though. good choice with the black and white. the line up is just slightly off though. by about 1 degree or so.

Ohh. This has a very continental feel to it. The graininess is very atmospheric
The wee steps are great, and although the railings seem a wee bit out-of-place they also add to the picture.
You should do more of this photography stuff

i really like these recent photos, i would like to see more. they give me a very emotional feeling of the area for some reason.

Now, I don't know much about nothin', but I like this photograph. The shadows at the bottom of the picture really give it a dark and cold atmosphere, even though it was probably hotter than a Vietnamese prostitute's cooch in India.
I like the off-centre line, made by the doorway. Just a whole lotta grey, mixed with bits of black and white.
Were you aware that the gate's bars are framed almost perfectly with the window in the background? Making the bars measure up well with the windowframe, creating a sort of... shape thing. Subtle, and I like it.
I dunno about the bike's wheel peeking out of the right hand side, but then again, it looks good, shows that there's another fuckin' bike there.

The top right hand corner is distracting, the top of the roof/gate/fence.
Other than that, I like it.
