I like how the wires and buildings create a vanishing point line. It gives the photo perspective and depth. Black and white was a good choice, because it gives the otherwise ordinary subject a classic and depression-era feel. The separation of black and white, in regards to the ground and the buildings is pretty cool, too. These photos don't suck in my opinion, you're a good photographer. You can make things look pretty.

dude, i actually really like it
it's clear you didn't try and make a photo of anythng IN the street, but of that cah be viewed higher up (assuming this is from a balcony?) i like the more abstract nature, the fact that ground level is dark and the sky is not visible. It's supremely abstract, like the fact your eye is drawn to the wooden structure where all the wires culminate.
so, nice composition, not sure about the blurred bit at the bottom, but i love the way the colour temp moves with the picture from top to bottom. all in all, good work

It's not a very clear shot, it just looks like a bundle of wires in the middle, it's hard to discern what they actually are.
Looks liek it could do with a little more contrast and adjustment to the levels, too.
Looks like a nice shot though.
