Description
My entry for the Prince of Persia contest . . . .Thought I'd try something a little different for the subject matter, I assume most will be drawing the Prince so I've opted to illustrate the 'Tree of Life' slowly corrupted by the Darkness . . . .
Going for that deliberate drawn/inky style.
Pencil, Ink, Acrylic, Watercolour painted over in PS . . . .

I take it this is for your school project? But, and this is big BUT, is this some sort of collage? Cos u really shouldn't just stick in other artists work and submit it!!!!!

yeah its a school project. im in year ten and im not taking any credit for your artwork. like i said the project is about an artist who you like(you). i have to write what i like about your artwork. im creating the whole presentation on photoshop and i think "corruption" is a brilliant piece and would look amazing as the background.

yeah i was wondering, it seems like you use a pen tablet if so what do you use? and like you said what techniques do you use?. By the way i uploaded a few pictures most of them are kinda crappy but i'd appreciate it if you looked at them. Thank Gav.

I use a Wacom Intuos 3 A4 size tablet....
Technique wise I always paint over my works digitally, but use a lot of my markings made from ink and paint, scanned in....

thats cool man I knew there was a tree of some importance in the game though I wasnt sure it had a name, great stuff mor interesting than just seeing hundreds of pics of the prince anyway

I know not much about the game so can't seen the connection ( never played the game ) BUT that works for me as I can see this as a piece all of its own too rather than overly obvious fan art ( which mine will no doubt end up looking like lol even though I am not a fan having never played the game! ) top work again.
