All of my projects for my last semester of college were about early man's discovery of consciousness, and the fact that our creative mind is what separates us from other creatures. And yes, the fire is a metaphor. Pretty artsy fartsy, right?

may i ask, on what kind of surface did you draw this masterpiece?

It's just regular watercolor paper. I just laid a "grunge parchment" texture over it in photoshop to give it a little extra personality.
