This photo really seems to captivate me. I can't help but stare at that sign. It really has a nice, soft tone to it, yet at the same time, my mind registers that it's a harsh, cold metal sign that's rusty and nasty.
But the picture really seems to try and throw those preconceived ideas out the window. Gorgeous shot and I really love it.

Because although this one is primarily meant to be a hommage to Terry Pratchett, what you wrote about softness and harshness here actually has been a part of the concept right from the beginning - but I perceived that only in a very intuitive, automatic way, but never in words... Strange, huh?
