Description

Angel was a captive of a pirate faction. Captured early in her childhood, she'd spent most of her life busy raiding nearby towns and camps, earning herself a rather notorious name for being both the youngest and most daring of all her faction.
Yet, this was not the life she yearned for. She was only sixteen, and she'd seen more blood and treachery than some of the older raiders. Though she held her head high and gun ready, Angel longed to leave this life behind and to have the opportunity to enjoy the rest of her teenage years as a normal kid.
It was a fateful encounter than she would happen upon the Oultercona Pact, a gentle trading city with a force of many. It was meant to be an easy raid, a quick and dirty job - but they were prepared, and though they showed little hostility, they buried her fellow raiders in the dirt.
With her last breath, she cried out at the nearest villager to her, another girl, only a year or two her elder.
"Help me!"
When Angel finally awoke, she found her right side heavy and unresponsive. The same girl whom she'd pleaded to before was by her side.
"You lost your arm, leg, and eye on your right side during the fight."
"I'm sorry. I'm so sorry for attacking you. It wasn't my idea."
"Don't worry," the girl shushed. With a smile, she held Angel's remaining hand. "You're in safe hands now. Welcome to the Oulterconas."
