I love this a lot. I get in a lot of heated discussions about evolution, etc. But when it comes down to it...an unlimited supply of disciples makes a big difference. 8D

Gotta sneak the humor in somewhere...too often I forget to. Just another way to make a piece your own.

Awesome idea, i hope you got a great score! Did you think about making another version with a sinuous line like the ying yang symbol?

I did, I got 100%. I didn't think about another version though. This was already drastically different than my original idea which was going to be a depiction of a war between the scientific side and the creation side (Monkeys riding Dinosaurs, etc., battling Angels and things...) but I thought this was a much simpler way to effectively get the idea across.

1. wouldnt science go in the middle? creation is as much science as the other.
2. it would be a little better if u added 2 more sets of hands and another set of feet like another classic art im thinking of. cant remember the name though.
very unique man. like it.

i didnt come out and say that evolution is not scientific did i? even though i believe that i was being fair and didnt be rude. so i really appreciate this response...
i have studied the bible very extensively. it is hard to see, but there is science in it.
for example:
-atoms are referred to.
-the bible delcared that the stars gave off noise before it was discovered.
-"life is in the blood" sound familier?
-dinosaurs. (Dragon i believe is the old word for dinosaur.)
To be fair to those who do not beleive as i do, i wont get into an argument against evolution. so dont start insulting me and what i believe.

I hope (and it seems to be that way) that you could tell I was definitely trying to be respectful of your beliefs while also saying that I don't really feel the same. Definitely don't think your way of thinking is wrong or mine is right, was just saying that for the purpose of the assignment I had to keep the two ideas separate because the idea was to illustrate the point of the article, not my own views.

I think that saying that creationism is science would be as valid as saying that ice cream is savoury. Most of the civilized world outside of the USA bubble wouldn't consider creationism as a plausible scientific theory because we sorta grew out of taking the bible literally at least 30 years ago.

Just the fact that there is bottomless evidence to support evolution. It's accepted by 99% of scientists, scientists being people who love to have credit for disproving theories. Creationism hinges on the fact that there are one or two tiny pieces of evidence out of millions that haven't fully been researched. The only reason it exists is because some very conservative Christians are frightened that some elements of the Bible shouldn't be taken literally. Which they very clearly shouldn't. I'm an Atheist myself but I know quite a few Christians who KNOW that the earth was created 4 billion years ago and take a lot of the bible with a pinch of salt. The only way that it couldn't have been is that if God was some kind of childish trickster who enjoys planting fossils and dna to mislead the human race. Which is pathetic in my opinion. So pathetic in fact that it couldn't possibly be true.
I've gotten involved in discussions online with people with religious extremist views before and it never ends well. I had one guy who when I questioned the fact that Noah couldn't possibly get 5 million species (two of each so 10 million!) on a boat or that Jonah couldn't possibly survive in a whale for more than a couple of minutes he just said I was ignorant and racist for coming out with such blasphemous remarks and that God can do anything. Even from that, if God could do anything then he's clearly a malevolent asshole who spends his free time infecting innocent children with aids in Africa and punishes anyone with eternal damnation who doesn't spend half their time bolstering his ego by telling him how great he is all the time. Luckily God as a concept is so ridiculously absurd and dated that we're okay and we can love and take care of each other without living in fear of some supernatural magic entity.

perhaps I should have clarified my intentions earlier.
i have no intent on getting into a discussion. I accept the fact that you despise us "ignorent" asshole worshipers, and I expect the same. instead I get a jargan of political bull and insults.
I honestly dont give a DAMN if supposedly 99% of the world accepts it.
now please stop responding please before I ask the owner to hide our entire conversation.

Thanks...though I don't know that I agree about Science being in the middle. I think that's more according to your own particular views, though to me everyone always tries to keep them separate. I mean, Religion doesn't really account for things like Dinosaurs or Evolution, and Science can't really explain things like God and the events from the Bible. For the sake of the assignment (which was based off of a magazine article that kept the two very separate) I had to think of a way to get the main idea of the article across in a simple way that was easy to understand. And I wouldn't have wanted to do the two extra sets of limbs because I like to keep my work my own. That would have felt a bit too much like I was adapting someone else's work for my own purposes rather than creating something that was my own.
