Description
A few years ago, I read an article about an artist who decided to highlight the absurdity of gender inequality by creating a series of images that reversed the gender roles found in old ads from the “Mad Men” era.
Growing up, I’d been a fan of the classic sci-fi and fantasy art found on the covers of old pulp magazines from the same era, but they too suffered from the same idiotic gender depictions.
So, I thought it might be interesting to try a similar gender swapping experiment, but this time with some of the pulp sci-fi covers from the 40’s, 50’s, and 60’s. I’ll leave a link to where you can order it. www.etsy.com/shop/GeekDenArts
