Filipinos love to eat. You can hardly get from one block to another without seeing a vendor selling something edible. When you ride a bus here, vendors even go up inside to sell everything from iced tea to peanuts. The man above is a peanut vendor. He carries a pail filled with peanuts. It's quite a treat to smell the newly-cooked peanuts when he passes by your seat at the bus.
