I wanted to make a power rangers reboot. Get back to the original mighty morphin days, but make it modern and cool for today's audience. I like the way some of the rangers turned out and some others not so much. Messed around with several different helmet designs, before settling on this. I just like the overall idea of rebooting the good old days of power rangers.I personally like the black ranger in this

i love the concept. I always daydream of going back to the origin of the power and like make it cool and modern for today's generation. God they would make big bucks for this movie. Have a look at my deviantart gallery Β and see what you think of my concept. XD

1. The point of different helmets is so that they would have something different other than colors to distinguish themselves.
2. Where are the bright colors!?!? Power Rangers NEED bright colors!!! Fuck the black undertones.
3. Reboots just Suck in general and there has YET to be a decent one made...

I'm getting a Sektor/Cyrax vibe from the costumes that I like a lot,
and I like that you abbreviated it down to just "Power Rangers".

I wish they'd do a reimagining of the series also. I liked the series as a kid. But if they're rangers protecting the Earth, they need real armor with real battle purposes. I like this redesign you did. But I would suggest not straying too far from the original designs, like the symbols and animal features that the helmets from the original series bore.

its a cool idea but i hate to break it to ya but you used the mortal kombat 3 cyber ninja head for all the rangers but its still cool

While the final look of their helmets did end up looking alot like mortal kombat; I actually used Optimus Prime, Ironman, and motorcycle helmets to make them.

this would not make for a good remake of the power rangers. The helmets should have more similair an appearance to the original helmets. And the outfits should be closer to the one's used in the movie. This makes them seem more like assassins or something. Cool pic none the less, just wouldn't make for a good remake in my opinion.

If you've ever watched Yu-Gi-Oh! 5Ds, you'll know the band Masaaki Endoh, they did the theme song for Shooting Star Dragon as well as the openings Going My Way!! and Believe in Nexus.

funny thing is, ive been thinking about this kinda thing for awhile now lol.
I can think of some really badass looking designs for all the villains. all theyd need to do is give the power rangers some badass looking iron man-like armor and get rid of all the camp and it would be a major hit i think
