I went through names in my head and it fit too much not to use. I need to buy copies and read the books through. ;w; I have Firebringer...but it's in a box somewhere.

They didn't have The Golden Compass? Now it's gonna be hard to understand. If they didn't have Lyra's Oxford that's ok because that's just a prequel.

Hate to break it but the movie was very wrong ;w; Except for riding on them darn bears! 

But it is the basic idea so I'm sure you'll be fine. City in the aurora, there's apparently a way to get there, alethiometer, daemons...blah blah blah. 

But Mrs. Coulter's hair is black. BLACK! D:<
