That's pretty badass, man. It's cool to see old WWI gear like this. I've got a taste for old school.

Thanks for sharing!

nice one. i'm guessing this officer serves in the royal artillery or royal engineers. btw, would british officers other than cavalry officers use swords in ww1???

i would

I would choose royal horse artillery, that way i get the best of all worlds, rifles, swords, maps, binos, horse, cannon etc.

oh...wow.

You know that's worse than a school backpack---or is it the same? haha. I'll wait for your first hand experience.

ah it wasnt too bad, the real problem is the awkwardness of it all, the rifles too long, the bayonet rattles, the sword gets in the way, the gas mask bag keeps falling off, the cords get tangled and the helmet is out to kill you....

Nice carpet there.

This is really interesting in the way it's laid out so that you can see everything is in it's right place, but it also looks a bit as though it's just one big pile.

Dress up! (Do you have a good mirror? A good mirror is essential when dressing up in ones favorite funny clothes.)

This looks great, although I know it would be helpful if you posted some photos of the individual items or even one where they're spread out a bit more (so I can see more of the detail). Thanks!
