I got too many pieces that start with the word summer. Oh well, I really felt like this picture embodies what our idea of summer should be. Bright colors, blue skies, sun shining through trees, etc. Words can only describe so much, so look at the picture already and try to enjoy it

If there's one thing I like about your photography, it's the fact that you can somehow make the world dress up nicely for you- everything always seems to look good when you use that camera. Whether it's indoors, urban, or nature-related, it always has a clean relaxing feel. Though I have to say that I enjoy your nature ones the most, because those are the ones that really show off that earth beauty.
This picture reminds me of camp trip I took about two years ago. Nothing but enjoyable eye candy for me. The best part of this picture is the shadow/light contrast obscured by the tree. The golden light on the grass is one of the best feelings of morning relaxation. I'd say this is the kind of stuff that should be in people's calendars.

I would prefer it if the flowers were sharper on the left, they seem a bit blurry and bad quality at the moment.

But anyways, I like how you captured the orange flowers there, they really contrast well in the darker area, and with the blue sky. nice piece =]

in all honesty, this seems more of a snapshot turned hdr, which isn't such a great combination...
not any sort of composition (or at least one that pops out at me) and the quality is pretty iffy...

Aye, it's not one of my favorites, and I've been debating for a few days whether or not I should have submitted this. I agree with you on most of your points except the composition, I think I got that part down. I think people just like it because of the colors cuase in comparison, this is a very bright/vibrant photo with a broad range in colors, and I don't have that a lot in my photos. I'll get better.

It's blurry because the shutter release is slow so when you combine the 3 pictures together, the wind moved the plants by the time the 3rd picture had been taken so it doesn't line up right. The downfall of HDR photography lol. I might just break down and get the upgraded cokin filter system so I don't have to deal with that.

you don't do hdr of plants. They move.
Nothing you can do about it, I can't even do that.
You'll need something like a 1d mark iii to get a high enough fps to not miss it.

Well, when I get enough money I'll get a few graduated ND filters and perhaps a circular polarizer so I just have to take 1 shot instead of 3.
