Did you use an SRU carbine kit as reference? (Sick art btw, always loved the fleshier side of cybernetics)

Oh yeah! good eye! I wanted the weapon to look less heavy duty. Kinda like the gun Mokoto has in the chase scene from Ghost in the shell

ooh cool. What kind of setting would this be in?
Is he a mind controlled soldier, or a peerless urban warrior?
Servant of the megalithic bad guys, or more akin to our modern day cops who can be either good or evil?

Usually people go with generic cybernetics. How did you come to *this*? Admittedly, I ask because that's the direction I go.

I like synthetic kind of stuff. Because it merges mechanical and organic elements more seamlessly. So for example I might make a industrial shaped object with a organic kind of shell or skin like surface to it.

Was there inspiration from things like the Guyver suits or the Harmony units from CivE?

I say stick with it. There are *far* too many "we should enhance our soldiers by adding things into their body God never meant to have put there."
I'd like to see more, "Let's take God's design, and see what we can do to perfect it."
