Thanks! I didn't use effects, but one of the layers may have used the Linear Dodge (Add) blending mode. And I think I only used one of the default "Chalk" brushes in Photoshop – Chalk 60. I also practically put no effort in choosing my color palette. In CS5 (and maybe earlier versions) there's a way to change the way the colors in your Color Picker window are arranged: [link]

I see! And that color picker thing is neat, I never knew that photoshop could do that. I wonder if my dated version of photoshop can do that... (just for perspective of how dated mine is, Adobe is on photoshop elements 9.... I still use 2).

D'oh. Elements 9 is the latest version of that series, but it's really limited compared to the Creative Suite applications. I hope you're able to get your hands on one of the suites some day; you'd probably have a lot of fun with it : D

Yeah CS is really neat, I remember playing around with it in high school and liking it a lot. They're just so expensive though @n@ I got Elements 2 back when I first got my tablet in around 2004, and I've used it ever since. There's like 2 things that bother me about it, but other than that, it still works pretty well for me. Eventually I'll get my hands on CS though... eventually... |D
