I can't believe you guys are fighting on something like this, insult or not as you can well see the artist himself didn't give a damn about the "insult" and took it as a compliment which made Deathbal101 look like an idiot (no disrespect meant). Anyway thanks for uploading this I really needed some good guidlines since I'm still a noob at this haha

Hey I actually used this as a way to train myself to use photoshop, but there was a slight problem. I wasn't able to get passed step 2. Which art program did you use to do this? I also ended up having to use multiple layers. And I don't think there's an "airbrush" function in the program I was using, which was Photoshop 6th edition standard with a Bamboo Fun tablet. :thumb202222684:

Without the very shiny spots in the end on pic 4, this is great in my eyes!
With the spots it looks more like a reflective surface such as metal or liquid, which - to me - doesn't fit in as it looks like a normal human's arm otherwise.
I might be wrong tho. :3
Overall, I like it. n_n
Thanks for the tutorial!

Naw, I think you're right. The white spots do indeed make it look like it's made of metal or liquid.

Nice quick tutorial, it's always so easy to screw up the lighting. If you get those wrongs it's all gonna look funny.

bueh thx!
