Well, well, well, if it isn't the next page in the tutorial. And look—it's all stuff you've seen before! What's my deal?

I wanted the section on the hairline to end on the 10th page, so I figured I'd throw in a summary page, with some alternate explanations and graphics for previous pages. Plus, I'm thinking for future pages, I'll still upload them as they come, but I'll add them to the same deviation, underneath each other. Thoughts?

I'm hoping this page makes it a bit more clear how to align the eyes and hair so they give the face a 3-D look. I promise the next page will be more interesting, since I'll not only be introducing how to draw the body, but revealing why Blossom has been in her swimsuit this whole time! Stay tuned!

Once again, I'm really sorry this took so long to do. I just seem to take a long time to figure out what to do next. Plus I had gotten a lot busier than I was used to thanks to work and music projects. That's still going on, but not drawing was taking its toll on me. I had to do something!

Blossom makes a really good model.

I love how she's always exactly where she needs to be.

You know, for the longest time, I've always drawn the eyes attached to the bottom of their heads. I've always wondered how to fit in a mouth, pffft.

It wasn't until a bit recently that I kinda discovered I've been doing it wrong.

She does like to go where she's needed

A lot of beginner puff-drawers do the same thing.  I know I did.  It was only by trial and error that I learned the "right" way to do it.  In fact, I'd still say I'm learning new ways to make the eyes look good.

Amazingly helpful. Not just for drawing Blossom, but for drawing in general. It really breaks down the basics Thank you so much!

You make it seem so easy. Somehow I'm never sure what to use to get perfect eyes I can move around so smoothly. It should go without saying I know...Anyway I'm really enjoying this series

If it helps, I try to envision the eyes as circles pained on a ball, and then turning that ball to make the eyes face different ways.

Glad you're liking it! Hopefully there'll be another new page soon.

Whoo! Page 10!
I always rotate the eyes in It's one of my favorite parts when making the lineart.

When I first pictured the head as a flattened sphere, rotating the eyes as the head tilted made so much sense that I was surprised I hadn't thought of it before.

And thanks for joining in on the Join.me session—I enjoyed your company!

I'm just glad I was able to make it It was great to watch you work! Sorry I would stop talking for parts, Karma and me were talking And she responded for me a bit as you gathered.

That's okay, I only wish you could have seen some of the more active creation process rather than just the fine tuning. Though that does seem to take me the longest... Heh, what else are friends for if not to come over just to distract you while they masquerade as you online?

I've got ideas brewing for the next tutorial page, so maybe I'll do another Join.me soon.

Thank you. The main message I hope to get across is that if I can do it, anyone with the desire to learn and the patience to make mistakes can too.
