Description
On this, the day of DuckxDuck's birthday, our lovely little Blossom decided to try to answer the age-old question that no one else ever asked: What is Duck x Duck?Using one of her favourite puzzles where digits are represented by letters, Blossom stays at Pokey Oaks through the night, endlessly searching for an accurate and yet still playful solution to the question. Alas, she discovers it impossible; but, determined to present an answer to her sister Bubbles in the morning, she stumbles upon a quirky product that is sure to bemuse—as long as Bubbles ignores the use of two letters for one digit.
Drawn entirely in Corel PaintShop Pro, with no sketches—just like JKSketchy's gift!
Happy Birthday, Chicken—I mean, DuckxDuck!

If you're going by ~nzz1 's post, it should be:
[(4)(21)(3)(11)]
= [4*(26^3) + 21*(26^2) + 3*(26^1) + 11*(26^0)]²
= 84,589²
= 7,155,298,921
= (23)(4)(5)(24)(5)(18)(17)
= "WDEXERQ"
Which is actually pretty good, considering the vowel-to-consonant distribution and placement.
...Who ruins the fun now?

Just as the digits 0123456789ABCDE represent the values 0-15 in hexadecimal (base 16), we could presume the letters A-Z stand for the values 1-26 (with 26 being zero, I suppose) in base 26.
But your way is very creative as well!

Haha, awesome!
Personally, I would've used a straight substitution cypher for the letters, so a=1, b=2, c=3....then:
Duck x Duck = (4)(21)(3)(11) x (4)(21)(3)(11)
and then calculate the resultant product in base 26. I might do that later, but I can pretty much guarantee it won't be as hilarious as this picture was!

I remember doing stuff like this in Pre-Algebra! xD Except it was much easier and we added instead of multiplied. x3
Thank god our teacher didn't make us do this problem. If Blossom couldn't figure it out, it's hopeless. ;D

Reminds me of Hexadecimal numbers ... base 16 counting system that goes 0123456789ABCDEF
A=10
B=11
C=12
D=13
E=14
F=15
Set in Hexadecimal mode, you can make your calc say stuff like "A55FACE"!

Hehe—aww, you're welcome! It was you and JK who rekindled my passion for art with your Random Games, so I had to show my gratitude! And when I saw your birthday was coming up, I dug into my brain-bag of ideas and pulled out one I'd been itching to try. Truth be told, I first tried to get "Sketchy" and "Mallard" to work, but when I realized "Chicken" and "Duck" both have C's and K's, I knew I had to make it work, accurate or not. (Too bad it had to be "not". )
