Description
Just got back from a lovely trip to Tokyo. I had the chance to visit Tokyo Disneyland (and took it, boyhowdy). I was pleasantly surprised to find an art class anyone, including baby chirruns, could take (in 30 minutes) to learn to draw one of the characters.Donald is my favorite because he represents all of the frustration and anger that I never release. I love him for getting frustrated and letting people have it.
They only provided pencils (no erasers) so you just kinda had to keep going. I liked working that way and also love to see construction lines in people's drawings so I left 'em.
Anyway, here he is. Prolly move to scraps soonish.
Donald Duck is copyright and a bunch of other things related to The Disney Studios.

I went to the one in Orlando and I drew Donald Duck as well. I even got the artist's rendering because I answered a trivia question correctly. It was awesome!

Ohh, you did a really good job... and it totally brings back a lot of memories. Mostly my dad getting into a fist fight (disney style) with Donald at a character breakfast at the park cause my dad could do the voice and how dare he! Awesome man.

I LOVE IT! GREAT JOB, MY MAN! THIS BRINGS BACK AN AWFUL LOT OF FOND MEMORIES OF DONALD FOR ME. ONE OF MY FAVORITE DISNEY ANIMATED MOVIE CLASSICS IS "THE THREE CABALLEROS," STARRING DONALD.

YES. I LIKE THAT MOVIE, AND THE MOVIE THAT CAME OUT BEFORE IT, "SALUDOS AMIGOS," ALSO STARRING DONALD DUCK. IT WAS IN THAT FIRST MOVIE THAT DONALD FIRST MET HIS BRAZILIAN FRIEND, JOE CARIOCA, THE GREEN PARROT.

wow thats so cool!
So how does Tokyo Disney land compare to the one in California?

Tokyo Disney is a little smaller. Some of the attractions have slightly different names and are in different parts of the park. The Haunted Mansion is in Fantasyland. Big Thunder Mountain Railroad is just called Big Thunder Mountain and Snow White's Scary Adventures is called Snow White's Adventures. They don't have a Matterhorn. But the biggest difference is the castle. Tokyo's castle, it must be said, is far superior to the one in California.
Observe:

Tokyo [link]
The one in California is Sleeping Beauty's castle, whereas the one in Tokyo (like the one in Magic Kingdom in Florida) is Cinderella's. It used to look more like the one in Orlando, but they repainted it and I think it looks just gorgeous. There are other similarities with the Orlando park, including the Haunted Mansion which is a brick construction rather than the white, southern style mansion in California.
Also, there is no Main Street, there's a place called World Bazaar. It's really lovely and covered, so when it rains you can still shop without getting wet. Very clever. Not as many stores/variety in the stores but you can still do some mean shopping.

wow seems interesting.
i actually get into all the Disney parks for free because I work for them. The only one I don't get in for free is Tokyo's. It is actually owned by another company they just pay for the license to use the Disney material. sounds freaking expensive to pay for that!
I like euro disneylands castle. It's all pink and looks like a delicious piece of cake. LOL

CAKE! Yeah, ownership works differently over here. But they do a good job. I used to work for Disney too but not in any kind of interesting way. Disney Store!
