"No... No one is going to hurt you... I won't let that happen" Harper said stiffly. I could hear the anger in his voice and I wasn't sure if it was me or him shaking. "I will not let anything happen to you... I promise Chimera" he muttered in my ear. For once even Rose was silent. I looked up at him, a the look in his eyes told me he was not lying, "Can you phase into something small? Your coming with us to Hell's gate... I'm not letting you out of my sight"
"Harper..." I began to say but he cut me off.
"Don't Harper me okay?! I only care about you. You're not running or wandering off anywhere... What's safer? meeting this Titian or staying with me?"
"That's the problem!" I said, voice rising in panic "Harper you're not like me... Your much more breakable than I am... Titian is going to follow me where ever I go, and a human like you isn't going to stop him... He's going to track me down... "
And it will be a fight to the death  Rose finished sadly. Tears flowed freely down my face.
It's too soon! Why when I find someone, a place and a future it all has to be taken away?! I wailed mentally. I have to find Titian... Finish what he started.  I concluded.
"Harper can I go to the reservation for a bit? I want to see Hufwe" I lied, keeping my eyes on my hands. Harper sighed, he didn't like the idea "I'll meet you there in a little bit, I have to help Langley out" he eventually said, with obvious .
"Thanks"  I shot out the door and down the stairs before he could change his mind. As soon as I was out of sight, I phased into my dragon form and shot into the sky
"I'm waiting Titian..." I whispered into the wind, as my wings took me far from blue lagoon, and into the Pandoran wilderness, where I knew that he was waiting, somewhere. And I would find him, no matter what...

I flew for a long time, the landscape churned and blurred beneath me. I did this for a few days, just flying in a rather random searching pattern. I was near Hell's gate when I heard a desperate shout.
"CHIMERA!"
I whipped my head around, my eyes focusing on the source of the noise. There was most of Hell's Gates staff, including the avatar team. The spitting image of me was chasing after someone. I saw him duck as the things tail swung around at his face. I bellowed in rage. Titian was trying to kill Harper! I screamed, a blood curdling sound when Harper tripped before hurling myself towards Titian. I shot a ball of fire long before I got near him, and I watched in satisfaction the flames bit into his skin. I heard his bellow of pain before I slammed into his body, sending us both flying. I recovered quicker than he did, and I crouched low in front of Harper, hissing as Titian righted himself. His red eyes glowed when he saw me, before he shot himself away into the sky.

I dashed forward and took off. I wa looking around when I saw Titian hovering over the blue lagoon, waiting. He seemed to be asking me to make the first move, and I did. I flew right towards him , as if to attack him directly, but at the last second I pulled my wings up, flipped in mid air and smacked his face with my tail.
He was concussed from my maneuver, and was rather sluggish in his response. I saw a flash of flames at his mouth, and it was as if a heavy metal bolt had hit my shoulder. I shook the rest of the fireball off, and righted myself in mid air.
I gave a massive beat of my wings, costing a surprisingly large amount of energy, flew back up towards Titian, and rammed him, my skull smashing against his ribcage. While we were both recovering, I took the opportunity to flash on my armor, and he did the same. My armor was a brilliant, gleaming silver that contrasted brilliantly with my black scales; while his was a dull, dead, decayed looking red.
I then braced myself as Titian flew towards me. He mounted several attacks, but all of them were either deflected or just clashed against my armor. Rage clouded my eyes as I bit into his chest. His blood dripped down my mouth as I snarled in rage.
"Catch me if you can!" I yelled as I flew back down, with Titian close behind. I jinked between the Trees, knowing what to do after hundreds of flights through these very trees. I flew through the last of them and looked back.
I could not see Titian. This struck me, and I gave a huge beat of my wings and flew over the same trees I had gone through. Some Time later, I was near the entrance and saw Titian lying unconscious near the first two. He looked as if he had smacked his head on the first Hidden Tree. I smiled in hatred and blasted a powerful ball of fire towards his unconscious body. I flew off again. It's over! I  thought.
Then, out of nowhere, Titian was again attacking me. Will he ever die??? I slashed with my claws at his face, and saw a lot of blood, Dark red and almost Black, with the odd gleam of silver, spraying all over both of us. I kicked him off, but he righted himself and flew after me again, but more slowly. I think I slashed a bit of his wing.
"YOU WON'T BEST ME HATCHLING!!!" He roared as he kept strugging to keep chasing me.
"You Fucking Watch Me!" I screamed. I was flying away from him again, then I angled my wings and used a tricky maneuver, designed to confuse him, and ended up behind Titian, who was still Flying after what he thought was me, but just a random black speck, probably an Ikran or a Samson, in the sky. I blasted three fireballs in rapid succession at him, and laughed in satisfaction as they hit him and he pulled the same maneuver on me. I then dived to the ground, and flew low.
He Kept following me, and I kept egging him on. He seemed to keep on following me, and I used this to my advantage. Then, suddenly, out of nowhere, he was right against me. We were falling towards the Hells Gates, with him clawing and slashing at my side while i kecked and smacked him with my legs and tail. I was disabled, and kicked out with my left foot. It found his stomach, and he was winded, but he still had the upper hand. He then twisted his tail around my spine and I heard a snapping sound, and then i couldn't feel my legs or tail. But I smashed his face in, with a spray of hot blood, and he roared in pain as he let go of me. I spat a jet of white-hot fire into his open mouth. Titian Died a horrible, painful, burning death. Then my consciousness winked out and i had the vague sensation of falling...
Followed by a huge thump, and a pain against my spine and ribcage. Pain was everywhere. I wanted to scream for them to kill me, to make the pain go away.
Oh please let it stop...  was my last thought before I was pulled under.
