Because there is often a breeze and I do not have the anti-shake feature in my camera or lense, I will often set it on TV rather than AV. If there is no breeze, than I will use the AV setting and turn the aperture down. Often I will take multiple shots using different settings and see which I like the best.

I have to first find the instruction brochure to understand more about Av, TV etc...I took pictures of my latest fish, setting at P, at TV, AV and manual. And all came out...blue. I had to do some adjustment on Photoshop to get as close to true colors as possible
