Mr.Potato Head method for the win , right?This one is a 50/50, Spikes' body is ENTIRELY custom, the feet are recolored from Espio's (and the animation is based on his running sprites)
Something sneaky is happening in GF's super secret underground bunker.
In other words, Spikes' revamp is still in the works, and since I'm a kind person, I've decided to leave you this sneak peek!
DO NOT EVEN DARE TO STEAL ITS SPRITES SEPARATELY.

Also, you missed this year's Sprite Royal Rumble which only had 10 slots for character entry. Inazuma is in again! Lightning may be a referee or on guardΒ duty this time.

Well, with the new Spikes in the works, it would've been a sure loss if I had to present my old Spikes again XD (I also feel that this year's SRR wasn't very well advertised)
I plan on making a huge comeback once I'm finished with his sprites, but it's still a long way 'til that happens, I still need to do all kinds of attacksΒ
and moves, walking animations (and yes, he'll have multiple walking animations, that is, if I have time) and a bunch of other stuff like partner poses etc...
I want to make this "revival" look good, and feel like it was worth the re-sprite.
Also because Spikes needs to train so that he can get revenge on Randy for pushing him out of the ring XD
Just kidding, I have nothing against the dude, but I will come back with new fighting moves
