This is more of a study than an actual drawn-out character portrait. Like the 2006 one, I sketched it in my sketchbook without any refs. I had a little more time to work on this one, but I didn't get around to adding body hair. To be honest, I've been thinking about cutting back Kolgar's body hair so that the muscular definition would show up better. I also tried to give him more of a rough, gritty look. Kolgar's a tough, mean fellow, and I wanted him to look the part.

4H, HB Pencil on Strathmore 400 Sketch paper. 2 hours total (all done during Drivers Ed class).
