It is like the dark shadows of the children.. It looks like they're playing innocently, but in the shadows I can see a pleading kid; please don't hurt me!, and his ghost-like challenger. It is almost like a projection of the silent agreements we make... That is what make this photo good!

You're right about the different perspectives...
The kids, seem to just be playing, together.
But the shadows, of them, on the other hand... Something about power.. Like the kid is bowing down, to the tall one.
